Extra Capacity tank

I am looking at getting this tank. I also plan on dropping in a Cummins a few years after I graduate from college, and want to know why this tank would not work with diesel fuel? I will want to use a large, aft-axle, tank for rear ballast (this truck will be a flat out hot rod!

Someone on here has to know the reason why! I always thought that gas was more corrosive than diesel, so if it was safe for gas it would be safe for diesel. If this is an inaccurate assumption, let me know.

you can use it for diesel just fine...if you use a tank that had gas in it, just make sure you clean all the gas out of it

Diesel fuel is not supposed to be used in a galvanized tank. It will supposedly flake off and ruin expensive stuff.

My thought would be to use one of the tank slosh liner kits.
