I know this question is like beating a dead horse, but,,,,, I looked in my cd manual, and hard cover chilton's, and haynes book for a decent vacuum hose diagram. The only one listed are really general. I have repaced the motor with a scrape yard special. The person who pulled the motor cut all the line's or yanked them out. I guess now would be good time, to tell what I have, 87 f150 4x4 4.9l, the motor i am putting back in came out of an 88 f150 2wd. There has to be some type of routing diagram, even the sticker under the hood is gone.
well aaaaah? I think that these trucks where efi so that makes things harder. I think you will need at least spark advance hose brake booster hose. and maybe a map sensor or something along that line. If you have the fancy air contorols you also have to have a vacum supply for the diaphrams to actuat the air ducts. Hope this helps a little. If there are any left I would just plug them off and see how it runs.
You might try going to a dealer and see what they might have that they can pull up on their computer and then make a print out for you..........then you would have a "hard copy". I did this years back with a 79 toyota celica, california model no less, (herd of vacuum lines) then took map pencils and colored everything in so it was easier to trace.
Or hit the library and make a photocopy from their repair books.
I Called the vo-tech school today, and they printed out the exact diagram routing, even were the 'worm through the motor'. so i guess I will start again tomorrow night.
