Yesterday I had planned to go to my shop and take off my studded tires and put on my summer rubber. But it was pretty cold and blowing like hell so I put it off. Today I woke up to an inch of new snow. It's coming up on noon, I just went out an shovelled 3 inches off my driveway and accumulated a half inch on my Stetson in the process. Right now, it looks like a blizzard out there.

Actually, its been quite a mild winter for me in Lethbridge for university right now, coldest it got was about -20C, maybe -30 with the windchill, and i think that only happened twice, and the snow never lasted more than 2 days. Usually back home (about 800 kms North of Calgary) im lucky if the temp is above -5 in the winter, and if we see the ground at all between the first snowfall and spring. Of course, the warmest it gets in the summer can't be more than 35 degrees celsius, and that is plenty hot for me!
