my clutch fan seems to be allmost stuck on. it runs on throughout the rpm untill i allmost redline it then it shuts off? i have a 2002 F-150 XL 5spd 4x4 anyone els have the same prob? and any suggestions just leme know thanks
Not sure what you mean by "stuck on".
I'm assuming you are asking about the radiator fan.
I have no idea what my fan is doing when the engine is turning 5000 rpm.
I'd assume it is freewheeling.
How are you determining the fan is stuck?
If I'm understanding what you describe, I'd guess the fan clutch is bad. There have been a few guys here over the years that have had that happen.
yeah u can hear the fan at allmost all rpms, blowing a rediculous amount of air. it should shut off im guessing around 2500-3000 but its not, and it takes me to allmost redline it to make it "freewheel".
