03 explorer 3rd row seat
Hello all new to the forum here.
I have an o3 explorer that does not have a 3rd row seat, but i would like to add one. If I purchase one from a salvage yard or ebay from another exploerer, will it bolt in or is it much more involved?

I'm not sure, but on my '03 with the 3rd row seat, it is recessed into the floor such that when folded down it goes nearly flat with the rest of the rear. If you don't see the recessed area, you may want to look deeper into your rear area and see if it's under there.

I forgot, the 2nd row seats are different also; they fold and "tumble" forward for access to the 3rd seat. Without that, Savage is right: PITA! I'm afraid Wayne is looking at serious $$$ to do it right.
