Rusty floor fixed, now......
*SPRAY GUN*
I have these next few questions as I approach the priming, prep stage now that major rust, floor pans replaced.
1. Can I just use an epoxy primer over entire truck? I just have a few small spots with metal showing.
2. Should I get rattle can "self-etch" primer for the bare spots, THEN use epoxy primer?
3. Would you buy that gun listed above? It has a 2.0mm nozzle for primer, and a 1.4 for topcoats.
4. I am going back two tone (lite blue, dark blue OEM), SHould I use BC/CC? Or single stage?
5. Is a BC/CC merely a single stage with a coat of clear on it? Or are the undercoats different?
I will post some pics I have of my floor pan resto. I have spent 6-8 hours this week just researching threads back to 1/05, and all over google, on all sorts of stuff. I am having "Information Overload", please help.
Thanks!!
