Took my '02 FX4 to a local tire shop for leveling (torsion bars) and alignment. They claim a total price of around $200 for the whole thing since they say I'd need a camber kit to do the alignment. I said H3LL NO! GIMME BACK MY BABY!!! Does this sound legit? I really want my truck level and I've always heard you'll need an alignment afterward. Do I really need a camber kit for an alignment???
i must have got ripped for paying $80. just for the camber kit! its sad when Ford wont even manufacture F150 w/the eccentric cams (cant cost that much) all it is , is a bolt w/2 big cam washers (1 set per anchor point on top control arm). Mine had the green colored shims set at the factory. First vehicle i ever owned ('01 f150) that didn't have built in adjusters. o.k. my .02 worth...paul
