I've been sweating my kahones off the past few days. It's been HOT to put it mildly. I don't do well in the heat... It's just not my thing. But, looks like the weather is going to be nice over the course of the next week. Anyone have any plans? I think I'll paint my valve covers. A little beautifying, if you know what I mean.
ROAD TRIP!!!! Heading for South Dakota hopefully, and also hoping to run the Cummins as well, got some last minute things to tend to on it, then head out, pick up a car, visit with my more or less adopted daughter out there and her child, and head back. Hope it all goes well, no problems...
I like the hot weather a lot better than the cold weather. Go figure that just as it turns warm, I'm headed up to Wisconsin next weekend, where it's still a bit cool, to go racing. But, the weather says the highs are still supposed to be in the 60's up there. A lot better than last year when the highs were in the 30's and it snowed one morning. Road racing motorcycles and snow don't mix well together. Needless to say, I sat that morning's races out. I'll probably be spending my free time this week getting ready to leave. Headed out Thursday morning for a 8-10 hour trip. We'll be there till Sunday afternoon when we head back home. At least I'll get to drive my PSD up there hauling the bikes and gear, and taking 3 good friends up there with me.
I am spending as much time as possible working on the '56 for the next few weeks. I managed to get a start on my summer sun burns today. I love warm weather.
The supernats are less than 30 days from now and me getting sick for two weeks put me way behind. I am hoping to drive her there and back. There is sooo much to do. We will see.
Other than that, its getting to the end of the semester. There is a mad rush to try to get everything done. Then finals and graduation too. Graduations are the weekend before the supernats. It couldn't be worse timing.
well I wasted all day saturday riding the lawnmower but today I will be welding sheet metal in the floor board of the bronco. as for the heat I love it because if I'm sweating that furnace is not eating propaine. Mo'money for fun stuff!
I'm out of the loop, don't worry about me. If I ask a stupid question, just answer it and do me a favor. Pretend it's not stupid. I get confused awful easily.
