I buy the plastic see thru shoe storage boxes at Walmart by the dozen. They stack easily, you can see what is inside and they are cheap ... less than a buck a piece. I label the outside and can find what I need at a glance...even if I forget and turn the label to the wall...

I try to keep them stacked by similarity. All the truck stuff goes together... electrical, plumbing etc... and they keep the contents clean..

The various sized plastic containers/boxes work great in the storage compartments of a camper also... they keep stuff organized, dry, and easy to find & move...
