castor or Camber question

I just made a trip from BHam, to Seattle. (Saw all kids of animals on the prarie, great trip) Baaaaad MPG facing that wind and the mountainous roads. The worst was 14 Mpg from Rapid City SD to Spokane WA, across the mountains.
Spent most of the time in Passing gear, trying to hold 75 Mph. Finally I got smart, set the CC to 60 and brought the Mpg back up to 19.

The truck "PUlls" to the direction the road is angled off. Or the direction the wind is coming from.
I held against the road or that wind just about all the way.

It does not show tire wear. Nothing else is wrong with the steering, just a definate sensativity to the camber of the road surface.

Can anything be done about that constant pulling?

Mine does the same thing. To adjust the caster, you have to buy a kit. It is not adjustable without it.

Jimmy, thanks. Did you put the kit on yours Jimmy?
Did it make it any easier to deal with the Cast of the road?

I wonder about that Kit.
If it's an aftermarket thing, or does the Dealer have the same thing?
Why is the truck the way it is?
Is it a safety feature, or a legal issue?

I'm out in Seattle now, and I may have the kit put on for the trip home. It's that tough to deal with.
