front toe hook installation

front toe hook installation

I have a 1998 F-150 XL. I would like to install front toe hooks and see them for sale on e-bay. Problem is, I cant find where they attach to the front of the truck. Do they bolt to the front of the frame? It looks like they just bolt on, but not sure if my truch is set up for front toe hooks. ANY help appreciated. John

They should just use the lower mounting bolts for the bumper. You may have to buy longer bolts to include the hooks. I can take a pic of mine later today and post em.

I just don't see where they mount. I am probally missing something obvious. A picture would be great. John

Oops....Guess they mount right to the frame. My bad. I never did look at where they were mounted.

Thanks Billybob. Sorry I did not reply sooner, but have been out of town. As soon as I get the chance, I am going to look at the front end of my truck. It is located away from me at the time. Thanks again. John
