68 manual trans?
i have a 68 F100 with a tree on the tree with over drive(warner T-85-N)and a 360.i want a 4 speed on the floor.what trannies and years can i use.i would like to use the cluth disk,bell houseing,throw out bearing etc.will a 4 speed out of a 85 work?what needs to be changed. all are 2 wheeled drive also.

I got a 4 speed from a 72. sell it for $80.00 plus shipping. I am in denver. This was well maintained and I will throw in new clutch.

i have not tried it on the road yet.it does move the truck fine.old owner has it wired(the pull lever under the dash) to keep it out of overdrive. i am in michigan what is the trans worth to u. maybe i will try it if u are really interested.has less then 60000 miles on it

I think you can get a shifter for under $50US. I'm not sure how much the transmission is worth since I would have to ship it to Tennessee. I would have to be sure it worked in all gears and I would have to have the complete wiring harness with it(if you take out that tranny, you won't need the harness anyway). I am not sure what 4spd you are wanting but I have an extra t-18 around here somewhere.

will sell whole truck $650 driveable.68 F100 warnerT-85-N trans 360 motor dana 44 with 3.54 gears.2wheeled drive.all there just rough looking.less then 60000 mile all stock all original!
