I was wondering if anyone makes a replacement adhesive back side molding for 71 models. I have it stripped down right now and would like to go back with stick on molding.

The only thing that I know of is the original type that uses clips.

Just out of curiosity, what is the easiest way to remove the stock trim or "molding"? I was trying to get it off to prepare the truck for painting, but I wasn't too successful. Am I better off taping it off and painting around it? There seems to be some rust under there and I would hate to do that. Replacement trim is very expensive!
