7 lug wheels???

Hello...I searched around and didn't find anything to answer my question...I have a 79 F250 w/ the 460. I see other post talking about 5 and 8 lug wheels on yall's trucks. There was even a post on how to tell if you have a 1/2 or 3/4 ton by how many lug nuts you have. On my truck all 4 wheels only have 7 lug nuts..Can anyone tell me what this means?

now the correct question is... How many wheel studs are there? Or how many holes are there in the wheel where it mounts to the drum/rotor?

You will find terminology is important on FTE

If you have 7 wheel studs, maybe one is missing?

Do you have a pic of the entire axle and wheel studs?

You see..this is why I spend more and more of my time on here instead of my gun forums...I went out and looked at my wheels...What I was looking at was the hub caps..When I pulled those off I count 8..Just one of those retard moments I guess. I have a shop getting me a quote for a flat bed. I saw a member's truck with the wheels I like, I just have to go find them now.

You have early 2000's Super Duty Hubcaps. Our 2000 F250XL has them on it. 8 lug wheels under 7 lug hubcaps.

That's cool...I saw some wheels in another member's gallery that I liked and hope to have on my truck one day. I can't remember which member it was though. The wheels were black, with concave sections. The raised ridge in between each section looked to be either silver or white..I have looked through about 50 profiles already. I am still trying though.

The wheels I am talking about are similar to the ones on the red and white 70s model Ford in your photo album. The difference is that there aren't as many spokes going around the wheel. What are those wheels called?
