Next mod suggestions

Looks like I am going to order the Hellwig Anti-sway bar next week or so. I was wondering what I should look @ to improve mpg the quickest as my next project. The 7.3 has plenty of power, so that's really not an issue, but making these $100 dollar fill ups go farther would be nice! Diesel went up 10 cents last night, I am regretting not filling up a day earlier.

thanks

not much you could do just stock up on some fuel additives, keep your fuel filters clean, and well you do have enough power but with a tuner you might just get a little more mpg's.

I was thinking along those lines too, as far as a tuner. Figure if an engine isn't working as hard, it should be more efficient. The question I have about tuners is do you have to make other modifications in order to use them, or are there ones that you can just plug in, and make intake and exhaust improvements later?

thanks

Trent Fliginger,

Intake, exhaust and a good tuner like an Edge Evo or a Predator will usually get you between 1.5 and 3.0 MPG. Air is the key, a diesel will use 8-10 times the amount of air as a similar sized gas engine and it really really needs all it can get to operate at it's best efficiency etc. Call us if you have any questions etc.

ok, what would you recommend be done first, the intake or exhaust improvements?

thanks
