Rust Proofing Oil Pan??
Just out of curiosity, do you guy think it would work to put Rinoliner or Linex or something of the sort on the oil pan to keep it from rusting out?? Would it get too hot for it?? Just trying to come up with a solution to keep a good pan from turning into a bad one!

when its my turn to do it, I will wirebrush it nice and clean and treat it with ospho. then I'll coat it with some heat resistant paint. Thats what I did with my bbq pit and I havent even seen a spec of rust on it in years.
