i am trying a f350 with a 7.3 power stroke, is goes dead while you are driving it it is a 5 speed with overdrive, the hotter the truck gets it seams to die more, you can let it cool a little and it will start again.

The issue you're describing could possibly be a bad CMP aka CPS (camshaft positioning sensor). A quick search on CPS in this part of the forums will reveal a TON of info.
It's a $90 or so part that takes 10-20 minutes to change out with a 10mm socket and ratchet and a flat blad screw driver to pry the old one out.
I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts, as well.

Sounds like your CPS is giving u trouble.I would start there. I believe there is a connection with heat induced CPS failure according to other peoples reports.

If it's on a dealer's lot make them replace the cps before you even think about buying it. Then test drive it fairly hard to make sure that was what was wrong.
