What do you think is the problem?
I have a 06 F250. A couple days ago I installed a AFE Stage 2 Air Intake System and a MBRP 4" Torbo back minus the cat. with the Batteries disconnected. I Test drove it and all seemed fine. Well yesterday morning I start it up and after about 1 minute warm up started backing out of my driveway. The engine started acting like I was running out of fuel. It did this all the way to the fuel station appr. 2 miles.I left the motor running while I fueled up. Once back on the road the engine ran fine but the check engine light came on. I returned home and disconnected the batteries again. Went back out on the road a drove another 5 miles with no problems. Had an appointment that lasted 1.5 hours at the Dr. office. When I came out and started the truck the check engine light came on immediately and has not went off since. What do you guys think is the problem? EGR?? One guy told me with all the increased air that is going thru the engine I might have to get a progrmmer/tuner to increase the fuel mixture? I didn't plan on this happening?

I encountered the same problem when I installed my cold air. I found that I had accidentally installed the mass air in the wrong direction. This cause the engine to starve from air and fuel thus producing the poor performance.
