I have been trying to find just 1 gasket-the oil filler tube gasket-(large rectangular) on my 272 V8-I have catalogs from Mid 50 and Sacramento Ford but no other. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
when i looked through the felpro catalog it was called pushrod cover some parts people ant the brightest i told them vally pan they said no such thing so i looked through the catalog and there it was plain as day push rod cover just so you dont get told they dont have one
I know there around. I'm just finishing my 272/292 (parts from both) I don't know where my engine supplier got them from but one thing, The 292 uses roughly the same gaskets.
You could always get Creative & Make 1 yourself out of some Cork Gasket Material that parts houses still carry for such purpasses, it's worked for me in the past as well as for others.
You could always find 1 on e-Bay, there been some listed just recently.
Thanks for all the help. I pulled out all of my catalogs yesterday and found a entire NOS rebuild kit which includes what I need from Vintage Ford in Huntington beach for $40 bucks! I said SOLD!!!
