I have a 53 f-250 that I have lowered, choped 8 inches out of the frame to make it a short bed, it has a volare front clip, 4 link rear end, 425hp 351W, 3 speed auto, I just built my sub and amp box/case, but I am having trouble with the one piece curved window kit from John's F100 has anyone used this kit. I am having trouble with the window channel not fitting in. I have cut all the metal out of the inside of the door like it side and the glass fits almost up to the top but it gets to a point then the glass wont move up anymore and there is about an inch gap from the top of the door and the glass.

 

Sounds to me like the track might be binding the glass. I don't have the one piece windows but when I put in the 2 piece, the track had to be really set into the groove as far back as it would go. I'm still haveing problems with the vent windows. There is very little adjustment. Also the little clips that came with the track didn't just pop in the holes. Some of mine broke and I ended up using "Super weatherstrip adhesive" to hold the track in place.

 

Are you sure the curve glass will work with the original doors; I was told you had to have reproduction doors for the curve glass correctly. I'm getting the one piece fr my 55 sometime but I'll use the one that has a small plastic piece in the place of the vent glass.
