Motor swap
I would like to swap a 400m for a 302 in my 72 f-100(manual trans).
What kind of problems will I have with motor mounts????
Has anyone done this???
Thanks for any info!!!

I cant tell from what you wrote which engine you have, are you going from 400 to 302 or from 302 to 400??

Motor swap
the motor stands are the same for 302 and 400. the motor mounts are engine family specific.

I replaced a 400 with a 302. I just had to get the 302 motor mounts. The front end was 1 1/2 inches higher afterward.

why in the world, would ever pull a 302 for a 400m?
build a screaming 302 it would be alot of fun.
