What brand oil filter?

I'm changing my oil today, first time with the PSD. What filter should I get? I prefer not to go to the Ford dealer.

Motorcraft from Wal Mart is your best bet today.

Usually I buy mine from fleetfilter.com and get 4 or 5 at a time. Helps cut down on the shipping per unit. I get air filters and fuel filters too. 1 big box, once a year and I'm good to go until next February. That won't help you today but since you know you'll be changing the oil again, go ahead and stock up for next time.

rotella 15w40 and motorcraft 1995 filter for me also!

BTW.... for those with tractor supply in your area, you can get a 5 gallon bucket of rotella for the same price (actually couple bucks cheaper) than you can buy 4 gallons at walmart! i bought a hand pump that fits on the bucket so there is no spills and after 4 changes i dont have to pay for oil, just a filter since i always have a gallon left over!

if you really would want to save money in the long run. just buy a 55 gallon drum. we just bought another and it was just shy of 500. would save you a few 100 in the long run and its kinda nice just to have for lawnmoers and little things like that. and not having to run to the store and such.

If you can stand going to Autozone, they have the Motorcraft 1995 for about $10.00 also. I saw Rotella 15 / 40 at Home Depot the other day for $6.79 a gallon. It's near the digging tools and lawn chemicals at my Depot.

pep boys purolator

I've been getting mine at pep boys for about 2 bucks, and sometimes they have rebates for even less. What a deal, they are purolator filters. jcab
