Or have your tire shop balance the wheels with weights on the inside of the wheel. Any good tire shop should know this when mounting weights to alloy wheels or any wheels that are considered of any value.
like i said b-4 "TELL THEM 2 USE TAPE WEIGHTS!!!!!" once the finish on the wheel is damaged thats is it is damaged and all u can do is"GET OVER IT" OR MAKE THEM REPLACE THE WHEEL!! i am sorry if i did not give u the answer that u wanted, BUT U DID ASK FOR SUGGESTIONS AND i gave u one, again u asked i replied! i work 4 a national tire shop and we use tape weights on ALL of our high $$$ wheels we install, unless told by the customer otherwise! thanks!!
These wheels came on the truck this way. I didn't have them rebalanced. Now that the damage is done does anyone have any solutions? Is it so hard to just answer a question?
once the wheels are pitted and the protection layer is off, unless polished wheeels you are stuck with it. There is nothing you can do, unless you grind on the wheel to remove the bad spot. I think everyone here is trying to help you, and are not being demeaning with thier comments! Like the other members have said you asked and got the solution! You were in my opinion being demeaning to others that are trying to help..... as for the wheels, their is not much you can do unless you replace them. No chemicals or buffing will help! I am getting to replace all 4 of my rims due to the same problem! I will use tape weights or my friend who owns a local tire shop says to use beads inside the tire and the beads go to make the wheel balenced! Hope this helps!
