Help!--O2 Sensor Part #'s

Please help!! I would like to replace my O2 Sensors on my 2000 F150 4.6L 4x2 SCab, but I haven't been able to reference the part numbers. I don't know if purchasing the truck from California makes a difference, but all the threads that I have read so far have been describing something different that what I see on my truck. I believe I have 4 sensors: 2 on each side (passenger side and driver side). For each side, 1 is on the manifold (front), and the other is on the cat converter (back). I noticed that the front sensors on the manifold have GREEN connectors, and the back sensors on the cat have black connectors. Are the fronts and backs the same? Does anyone have part numbers for all four? I'd go to the local Autozone for the answer, but I don't really trust them. The Haynes manual that I have only show 2 sensors, 1 on each side. I'd rather stick to you all on this site for specific F150 questions. Thanks in advance. -- LilGreenF150

Thanks, I appreciate the quick response. Which side is upstream and which is downstream?

The one closest to the exhaust manifold is the upstream, downstream should be intuitive if you think about flow.

There is almost never a valid reason to replace all four sensors at the same time. To do so is usually a waste of money.

Replacing the two upstream sensors MIGHT (or might not) be a good idea, depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Might want to start over with an explanation if you want be sure you're spending your money wisely.
