Need Differential Help
I have found a set of gears front and rear from a 1999 F150 I need to know if they will work in my 1989 F150. I do not have access to the tags from the '99 but the guy said they were 8.8 differentials. My tags read front 3.54 E8TA LD 610335-3 and the rear reads S80

Your 89 F 150 should have a Dana 44 front diff and a Ford 8.8 rear diff. I believe the 99 has a Ford 8.8 front diff and a Ford 8.8 rear diff. I am not sure if the rear 8.8's are the same or not, but I know the fronts are not the same.
