This line became disconnected when I was checking around the engine for oil leak; hopefully I reconnected it up under the cowl but it was full of oil, which I cleaned. Anyone know what it is for?

If you are posting a reply (not a quick reply) there is a button with a globe and two chain links at the bottom. Click on the button, and it will prompt you for the text you want to display and the link you want it to point to. In this case, I just used a link to one of my gallery pics.
The line in question looks like the vacuum supply line for the HVAC system. The end opposite of the visible tee should attach to manifold vacuum somewhere.
Thanks all -I have a stock Ford oil gauge, so must be AC vaccum line. I think it had become disconnected sometime in the past and some oil got up there due to another problem (leaky valve cover gasket).
