Need help with mirrors!
Just bought a 2006 F350 cab/chassis and had a 8x12 dump box put on it. It looks and works great but the problem is I can't see past the dump box on the passenger side or even see the 7x16 trailer I'm pulling. I have the extendable tow mirrors but even all the way out is not enough! Is there anything available that can be installed that gives you more extension?I did a search here and could not find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know of any way to extend the mirrors further. I'd recommend a pair of C-Betr mirrors. http://www.qwks.com/xcart/catalog/CB...r_Set-p-3.html

I measured between the medial edges of both my mirrors when fully extended. 95". You just need to adjust your mirrors so that the walls of the dump box are just in the vision. Adjust the small convex so you can see the rear wheels and surroundings. You shouldn't need wider mirrors. maybe a reverse camera would be a better option for looking directly behind.

Yeah that little tiny square convex thing on the main mirror was on the truck when i bought it. I added the C-Betrs, because they're great. That little thing is worthless... just shows little dots for cars in it. I'd remove it but don't want to foul up the mirror. Plus it makes me look cool having four mirrors on one side.
