Ball joints PLEASE HELP

i am replacing my ball jounts upper and lower. i heard their is two types the new ones are nylon seats instead of steel. heard nylon no good. how do i know weather i am buying the nylon or the steel. anyone have and parts numbers? f350 1996 4x4 cc srw
