Quaker State 15-40??

well, i now work at a auto dealership, and can get quaker state 15-40 out of thier pump for dirt cheap. anybody used it? i've used Delo 400 in the past, but at 7$$ a gallon, its a little more than the QS. i thinki can get all 15 quarts of the QS for a little over 20$$. 220K on the truck now

As long as the oil has the same rating as is required by Ford (cg-4/sh), you're good to go.

Thumbs down

QS is very high detergent. All their stuff cleans like oven cleaner on the inside of the engine. It's good if you've used it from the start, but if you have high mileage and start using it for the first time you can start dislodging crud and build-up that has been there a long time and even clog your oil pick-up. Having a clean engine inside is good but doing too much too fast can cause problems. QS can do that.
