Question Ipod in 2000 taurus

trying to find a way to conect an ipod to the stock headunit in a 2000 taurus. i have the adapter for rca's from the ipod but am trying to find a way to attach to the headunit. if i have to i will use the fm transmitter but any other ideas would be great.

I'm doubting there's any inputs on your factory HU. There's a slim chance if there's an external changer. I would imagine that you would end up having to use the FM transmitter... Sorry, I wish there was a way for you to get better sound quality. That's why I bought the KCA-420i for Alpine HUs. The FM transmitters can sound good at times, but typically, there's a static that exists just as if you were listening to the radio.

If your radio has changer controls then PIE has an I-Pod interface for you. A few months ago I installed one for a customers 99 Mercury Sable. It connects to the tuner module in the trunk.
