Can you pull 'em???

Anyone else have the 300 L6 engine in their van? Of those [i know there are a few] have any ever tried to remove/ replace the pushrods with the engine still in the van?

About to do a mild buildup on my 300 but pulling the motor isn't an option. Only real unknown is whether I'll be able to remove the pushrods without removing the head [a major pain]. Anyone ever tried it???

super simple to do. just remove the valve cover and rockers then pull them right out. witht the doghouse removed it will be simple to do. the pushrods are 10'' long.

Should have specified my question a bit more... very familiar with how to extract the pushrods... big Q is whether there's enough vertical clearance to get them out. The pairs at each end shouldn't be a problem.. but I'm aftraid the one in the middle will wind up hitting the top of the engine compartment before clearing their bores.

If you say they're 10" long, I'll take the tape measure and do some checking tomorrow.
