Yeah. You'll need a tranny from a 4x4, a transfer case (obviously), front driveshaft, new front axle, hubs, equipment to add the electronics of it all, etc.
What year are we talking? It may be cheaper to get a whole new truck than to switch it over.
It's possible. Anything is possible if you have a limitless budget of time and money. In reality though, you'd be better off to sell the 4x2 and get a 4x4.
Oh ok, thanks. I would just but a new truck, but my insurance is gay. And says that I teenage boy, with a 4x4 is alot to insure. So eh, thanks
Yah... tell me about that insurance. It really pays to have have my LTD ($22.25/month) than the Ranger ($83.74/month). If the insurance companies had any sense, they'd charge more for the LTD. It's faster and not as safe as my Ranger. Yet the Ranger cost four times as much. RRRRR. I guess they could charge a boat load for both vehicles. That's the reason my friend bought an S10 with a 350. Four-Cylinder VIN #, but eight cylinders under the hood.
But buy a 4X4 and you be months ahead in time, money, and hassle.
