I recently bought a "69" F-100. But I need to know the actual VIN # decoding to make sure. The # is F10ADB55214. There are other #'s beside it on the original owners card (the original plastic embossed card). Any info will help.
Hi I did a check on your vin and here is what I came up with

Series: F100 - 4x2 Pickup
Engine: 8 Cyl, 460ci (7.5L) 4bbl
hope this helps also did you check the Vin number on the door of this truck.

Sorry Steve, but you're way out on that decode. It looks more like a 68 sequence number. I'll have to check my books to be sure or maybe someone else will be quicker with the right info...

F10=F100
A= 240 I-6 150 Max Gross HP at 4000 RPM, 234 Ft/LBS max gross torque
at 2200RPM, 9.2:1 compression ratio, 4.0x3.18 Bore&Stroke
D=Dallas Assembly Plant
B55214= July 1967.... B54,000 - B67,999

Your truck is a 67. Those vent windows are 67 only as they changed for the 68-72's. I don't know about new ones but you can check the FTE store and classifieds.
