I have a question. On the bottom of my boat hull their is a small crack abviously on the surface level of the fiberglass that I found when I removed the old paint that was down their from the previous owner. What is a good item to use to cover that crack just to make sure it does not become a problem later?
The bond that stuff makes is incredible. That with a fiberglass cloth and another layer of the bonding material overtop smoothed out with a spatula should work.
I'd recommend sanding down to the fiberglass before patching though.
Wow what timing, I cracked the hull in my boat last weekend at Alamo Lake. Perfect timing for repair threads. I just gotta remember to slow down when beaching, oh well what do you expect for a boat named PROP STRIKE. But that is a whole other story
mine is defiantly cracked, I was beached on Lake Mohave a couple years back and a huge boat cruised by really close throwing about a 3 foot wake, well it tossed mine up on the rocks and cracked the keel. So being busy boat season I just ground out and filled with HYSOL so now I remember that I need to do some structure work.

That's 2nd on Marine-Tex.
If you're going to repair a hull, do it right the first time. And this stuff in pretty much indestructable when applied right.
