no just ordered today. i SO CANT WAIT!!!! i just hope they get here before the south florida meet. i want to buy the rear lights but i cant decide whether to buy the brand new oem style or the alteeza style. im not a big fan of the funky alteeza styles out there but there is one that is clear and red not clear red and black so i think it would work ok for my truck. im not sure. we'll see. i didnt get the corner lights cause either the stock ones look clear enough or the previous owner put those on for me. this is gonna look so nice!
i recommend buying the set if you want to purchase these cause buying them separately like i almost did would run you about another 15-20 bucks.
im gonna try to buy some thick clear film that i can layer a couple times over these so that when they get chipped and blurry i can just peel off a layer and they look nice again. for some reason i dont think these will hold up for very long nor do i think they will hold up well to a rubbing compound or sanding and polishing
the headlights should be held in the truck by 2 metal plate push clamps from the rear.look behind the headlight assemblys and you should see 2 tabs. pull up on the tabs and the light assemblys will unlock, then just pull them out from the front. sorry i cant give a better description or pics, i don't have any manuals here ,and the only thing i have with that style light clips is the crown vic.
oh man i totally forgot about this thread cause i found another thread about how to take the lights off. they look . . . incredible. the truck looks like a 2006 remake of the 94 lol does that make any sense?
i havent finished the bezels (im painting them silver to match my grill that i did a couple of weeks ago) so im riding around with just the lights and they obviously dont look finished but here is a sneak preview of the finished look lol
my advice. . . get them! see if you can find them through that link i posted. its the cheapest i could find for the four lights. i think the side lights are just like 30 bucks or less on ebay as well. or, if you want to go with a possible(im not sure) guarantee or at least customer support(??) then try LMC who dropped their price to 169 i think. i think thats only for the headlights though.
hope this all helped
these are the clear tail lights i got from a friend for a six pack since they didnt fit his bronco II lol
i put red led's in them and it looks pretty sweet. except i cant figure out why they dont work as turn signal bulbs now . . . ill have to do a search to see if anyone else has had this problem.
anyway, there you go. whataya think?
please remember the bezels are -not- installed so it looks weird. ill take more pics when they are finished.
sure thing. man, i had to edit that post like 89 times to get all my spelling errors and forgetting to post the link to the picture errors corrected lol
