Unhappy dont know whats missing

does anybody have any pictures of a carb for a 5000cc 6cyl auto i know theres bits missing and bits been added . ive no kick down and no choke and it takes five minutes to get it hot enough to go out in . its very hard to get parts or help here in scotland

I assume you are talking about a 300 inline six?

What year is your truck?
You do mean the 4.9 liter I suppose.
I have an old carb which has a bad throttle shaft if that would help. I an not sure, but I think it is an '84.

You say no kick down. Does that mean for an auto trans?

Anybody know the kickdown mechanism for a 4.9 auto?

I know part of it bolts to the intake manifold and connects the carburetor to the kickdown rod going into the automatic trans. The theaded holes in the intake is where the brackets bolt to. My 84 with a 300 six has a manual trans so I can't explain it with much detail.
