First of all, when you post, can you please use some punctuation and capatalization? It makes what you write awful hard to read. The easier to read your posts are, the more likely people are to help.

It sounds like your throttle body is in need of a good cleaning. I would take it off the truck and scrub it out with a brush and a can or two of brake cleaner. I'd also think about replacing the TPS and IAC valve if they're original. This will probably fix your problem, and you'll probably notice it idles a lot smoother too. Sometimes you can get away with just cleaning the IAC if it isn't gunked up real bad.

dont spray carb cleaner ont he throttlebody thats very bad. sounds like you have a seperate issue here. try pulling the codes, its possible you have a bad tps or iac valve causing this or a vacum leak etc... fordfuelinjection.com will show you how to get the codes

Dont use brake cleaner. use Throttlebody cleaner only

I had a similar condition in my truck as well. I had clean the TB, replaced the TPS and IAC, no codes, but the problem still existed. I had the hood open one day and I reached up and rev'd the engine by opening the throttle body just for giggles. It stuck open (again), not very much just enough to keep it at about 2800. Rather annoyed, I reached up and closed the throttle body by hand and it dawned on me...the return springs for the TB were shot. Ran in the garage, grabbed an old carb return spring, rigged it on there, and its been there since. No more TB sticking. Gas pedal is a bit harder to push now, but honestly, I prefer it that way.

I do fully agree you should try everything else these guys previously mentioned first though.

it wasnt carb cleaner that i sprayed on there i thought it was but it turned out that it was throttle body cleaner. I cleaned it out a couple of hours ago with a toothbrush and throttle boby cleaner it runs much better now it wasnt really dirty, but i guess it was enough to make it stick
