I did this a few times last year and it really is a piece of cake. The boat just follows right behind the 5er nice and you don't have to corner any different. I have a marker sticking out from the boat like you, so I can see if it is still back there.
You turn alot of heads in the campground when you pull in with the double behind you. I think they think I am going to try to back the whole business up, but that's not going to happen. I park out front of the site and unhook the boat and push it off to the side while I park the 5er.
I love how tough/strong the Ford looks when its all hooked up! Hmm....come to think of it, it's usually Duramax guys that are eyeballing me when I come in.. Jealousy is not a pretty thing.
