We were at the Colorado RV and Boat show this weekend and fell IN LOVE with a 5er. This one is 37 ft and dry weight is a little over 10k. The 30 footer is just a little lighter. My question is, How heavy are your rigs?? I plan on pulling an 18' flatbed trailer with quads behind the 5er (2500 pounds?).
Also, anyone know what the length limit is for towed vehicles. One of the guys at the show thought it was 70 feet, all three vehicles combined but he wasn't sure.
JMorton, the limit in colo. is 70 ft the websight that f350xlt460 recomended is the one i have always used. by the way i was at the rv show on saterday, the wind was crazy. see ya around
So are you putting a trailer off the back of the 5th wheel? I know that in Alaska you can only pull one trailer at a time. No doubles unless your a CDL Double rated driver and thats for commercial rigs only.
Oh yes! I see guys doing it all the time with boats and atv's. Down here you can do it you just have to watch your length, and it varies from state to state. I know lots of guys who do it.
