O.K., I know it has taken a while, but I have ordered my 5" exhaust. I had plans to order it a month ago but had to buy a Torque Multiplier...$600 used!
Anyway, this is what I have ordered, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
from ebay. I liked it for one ,the price, and two, look at the down pipe. The down pipe goes from 4" to 5" half the way down. It's going to be a long weekend, wish I had ordered it last Monday!
i think it goes from 3.5" to 4", and then to 5" after the tranny crossmember. i dont think there is room for a 5" pipe in between the crossmember and the tranny pan itself. see the pipe below the tailpipe in the picture? it looks like it has a 1/2" step on each side right there.
anyway, straight pipe that sucker and youll love it.

I don't know about that Kris, It may be 5" and that's a slip fit joint. I was going to comment that I hope it has a "dent" in the pipe at the crossmember like the Mark R systems. If it doesn't, I gaurantee it will before the install is done, if it's 5" at the downpipe.
Is there that much of a difference between the sound of a 5" with a muffler and a 5" without? I may have to get the muffler no matter what? I do a lot of city driving and cops around here like to write tickets for too much noise from sterieos and exhaust. I just need a little insurance when if I get pulled over by tell the cop I have a muffler.
