Busy Server?

I have been getting the following message lately:

The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

Anybody else having this problem?

me too. im in the process of uploading turbo disassmebly pics, and it stopped me and i had to watch tv (OMG). my opinion is that the paid supporters should have the first slots on the bandwidth and the "freeloaders" (so to speak of) should get the slots left over. JMHO.

I opened a support ticket the other day about this and got the response "We have not been noticing this..however thanks for the update and we will look into it. "

This will probably get closed or removed, but I thought I'd chime in.

I haven't gotten it yet tonight, but the past several days I get it quite frequently. It wasn't bad until about a week ago.

It's really been happenning a lot the last week or so. Today was bad. I concur on the subscriber/bandwidth idea. Yes, this will likely get moved like my DST time change post that went to the test section? Don't know why, I wasn't testing a post, I knew it was going on. Matter of fact, the 1 hour off discrepency was just corrected today.

I think Kris had a good idea in that the Supporters who actually pay for the site should get priority somehow. Maybe kick off on of the freeloaders instead of giving me the server is busy warning? You can make that a perk for paying, no banners and you get to kick off someone when the server is busy. Maybe a list of freeloaders could come up and you could even pick who you want to kick off!
