diesel 79

has anyone done a 7.3 diesel swap into there 79 250 4x4 planning on doing the swap in the near future just trying to learn a little about it before i start.

Which 7.3 do you refer, IDI or Powerstroke? Both have been done, but the Powerstroke takes a lot more knowhow with all the electronics. The IDI motors can basically be run on one wire.

i have thought about doing the powerstroke but most likely pre power stroke idi non turbo

I'm pretty sure the motor mounts are the same, if you are going to go with the 7.3 any way you should look for one with the turbo, the made those before they went electronic.
