Truck value?
What is this truck worth ? It is a 1976 F-250 with 390 and NP 435. It is a Custom and has low options. Not sure if it has PS or PB yet but i will check that out when i view it. The tailgate is shot and the paint is fading away. The trucks does smoke on startup and burns about 1 quart every 300 miles. My guess is it needs valve stem seals BAD. Which is not that uncommon for the FE engines. The tires are pretty good and it has a D60 rear end and is a original Ca truck with little rust. Pics in gallery.

I would pay no more than $1500 because it needs head work and probably some other small engine stuff. I noticed in the pics a small tear on the drivers side of the bench seat. The body looks real good except for the tailgate and of course the usual bed stuff. Depending on if your going to use the truck for a project I would say here's $1500 cash and if they haggle I would just make note of the engine problems and say thats all I'm willing to fork over. If you need this to drive i would look elsewhere because it may turn into a a money pit for a daily driver. Don't forget that California also changed the smog laws to 75 and older being exempt

yes it will be my daily driver. My 75 was supposed to be but it turned in to a big project so i need something cheap and reliable to drive for about 9 months. if the engine is toast i can swap engines in a few hours and put in my new 352 i built up. but the guy wants 500.00 for it so i think i will go for it. My last truck was 1800.00 and turned into a 7k truck.
