yamaweezle,
do you know any yamaha techs that visit FTE?
I have a carb problem with my 650 vstar.
I tried the Star Riders forum, but it is not as easy to navigate as FTE is.
My 650 does not idle and it runs rough.
also it will run with the choke on and when I push it in (off) it will die instantly.
If you know someone that can help please pass this on.
I hope this doesn't get bumped.
khadma
I do like the FZ1 too, but cost could by a factor.
I also have plans on attending the event , we are leaving mediapolis iowa at 8 am, there will be about 70 of us all in one pack. Hopefully nothing screws up the plans we have for attending, If something does we are going to head to the big river ralley in fort madison and go on the mystery poker run. Look for my bike, licence plate says OPIEZ
Kewl If we take the bikes (I really hope we do) I have a Goldwing LTD(Gold/Brown) with plates that say Digger, and my wife has a Yamahopper Fazer Then there will probably be about 3-6 more goldwings with us
i didnt because i didnt make it, my bike decided to crap out on me friday night, the starter just blew up, so i took it out to heartland harley to bitch and whine at them to get it fixed factory warrenty free style, well by the time it was fixed i had already arranged to trade it in and i bought myslef a new ROAD KING ! so didnt make the event but got a new scooter !
WOW... What a great time There where a couple bikes there too
Did anyone else get caught in the rain
i think i saw a harley!!! sorry taz, we were there prolly at the same time, and it was such a madhouse...my friend actually rode his victory up, and his foot was sore when we got back...didn't get caught in the rain either!!! we made it back with enough time to spare for ice cream at culvers...we walked around the grounds for about a lap, i ordered something for my warrior, ate a pork chop sandwich, and we left...we were only there for about an hour & a half...was pretty fun though...i bet there was 4000+ bikes there, what do you think?
