what are the best casting numbers to make a cleavor. Would all the 2v heads be about the same or are there any that I wouldn't want to use. Also, Any good links on modifying the heads and solving the intake problem???
I am building a clevelor motor also and I have D1AE 2V heads then I counterbored for the 4V valve seats 2.19 INT & 1.71 EXH but only smothed out the casting on intake ports and opened the exhaust ports and pockets.
I have a 302 bored 040 over that iam trying to find a set of boss pistons for and need a set of long rods too i think maybe its bush that sells the intake adapter spacers for this build i need a set of them too i did price them they are 200.00 and some change then you can run a 302 efi intake the chambers on these heads i belive is 74 or 78 cc so you got to have the right pistons and long rods or you wont have any compression plus the pistons are cut for the canted valves hope this helps im still gathering parts im planning on doing this as soon as i can find pistons and rods i seen a set on e-bay h-beam rods and boss 302 pistons for 300.00 but i did not have the bucks at the time good luck dave
they sell intakes, rods, even the aussie heads. They also say to have instructions for the machining "free". I'm gonna give them a call, look over the site this weekend. If you have any sites post them please, I'm finding alot of junk out there, nothing really helpful. How do you solve the wet to dry intake problem?
you have to drill the heads in two places and plug a hole thats there and drill the intake there is a thread about it just do a search on clevelor and you will find it i dont recall what it was. im planing on using my 302 efi intake with the adapter spacers. let me know if you find anything good on this. thanks dave
the name of the place that makes the adapter spacers is: price motorsports and there around 200.00 bucks and I belive that you can use them on efi 302 intake
