i have an 06 f-350 SPD single cab long bed XL 3.73 gears, just a couple of morning ago i went out and started my truck to let it warm up for its usual 10min warm up before im off to work well i got in put it in reverse and the little wrinch "limp mode" sign came on so i shut the truck off and start it right back up and it didnt come back on well the same thing has happend every morning since then. i drove around town a little and parked and left it idle for about 20 mins then got back in well same thing happend as soon as i put it in gear but same thing i shut the truck off and start it right back up and sign goes away. i scanned the computer and no codes came up. ANY CLUES????
Two things:
It's under warranty, take it to the dealer.
Second, quit screwing it up leaving it idle for ten minutes. That's really bad for it. After starting give it a few seconds for oil pressure to come up, and then drive it gently until it warms up.
