I have an f150 99 4.2 and am having this horrible noise coming from right under my seat. I have lubed almost every crevise under my truck and the squeak is not weakining. It seems to be loudest when i press on the gas pedle and pick up speed. Please, any ides will help.
It sounds to me like you might have a dry U-joint. I would remove the driveshaft and carefully check the U-joints for any looseness or binding or rough feeling.
I agree. Mark the drive shaft and the rearend before you take it out. Do the same with the yokes and shaft if you take that apart, other wise you may have a vibration when you're done.
