I am in a testing for a scholarship and am going to be tested with a 2006 ford escape with the 3.0L v6 in it. The problem in the vehicle will be a no start. The problem will not require us to unhook gas lines or any other way to expose fuel. I would really really like info on problems on these cars. I really need the info. I need to win this scholarship bad. I am already 1 of 19 other students in the contest. I scored number one in my class and our school is one of 10 that is going. I am going with 1 other person from my school. It is a huge honor to just make it to state. If anybody else from indiana on this site is in the test I Wish you luck.
Well the first thing to check will be the "PATS" key all ford keys have a transmitter in them if the key is not coded to the ignition it will not start........

We were sent a manual in the mail with the rules for the test. I am going to use the wiring diagrams to learn how the cars are wired and where the conections are located.
