Setting a paint brush in a can....
Two tips for you that my dad years ago taught me.
1) Wrap the brush up in a handi-bag and put it in your freezer.
If you're going to put it in a can with cleaner:
2)Lay the brush along a paint stick or similar piece of wood and use an elastic band to hold it on the wood about 1/2 " up from the end,
this takes the stress of the brush hairs and still allows them to be in the cleaner.
Also, use a can with a plastic lid that slides over the brush handle & stick then seals the top of the can.

Thanks for helping others out!
I use coffee cans for the thinner w/plastic lids although the thinner sometimes gets to the lids... I also have some tall thin metal cans (old welding rod) that will take the brush and stick whole without having to cut a hole in the lid.
