Are you ..standing... while working at your bench?
Well,
If you are,then find a length of carpet and lay it down in front of the bench.
Your feet will love it and your legs won't cramp up.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-May-02 AT 07:46 AM (EST)]I put 3/4 industrial rubber foam down that feels great. Not to mention that if you drop a part it bounces way less and doesn't get damaged as easily.
